IN THE COMMUNITY
Shopology takes a special interest in being socially active within our community. We are especially fond of organizations and issues that promote self esteem building, personal empowerment and overall wellness of women in need. Support one of our community partnerships in this area by volunteering or making a donation to our highlighted organizations.
PROM DRESS DRIVE
Inspired by the mission of projects like Cinderella's Trunk and The Princess Project, we sought out local and regional organizations that execute on this very mission. This mission includes dress giveaways to girls who otherwise would be unable to attend a prom(or formal event) event due to financial circumstances. Shopology supports local affiliates by arranging 'Dress Drives' and 'Dress Giveaways' to help young girls who could not otherwise afford a formal dress. We arrange dress collection locations and donate collected items to local organizations dedicated to this mission. In addition, Shopology volunteers our styling services to help make Prom night a beautiful event for as many young girls as we can help. DRESS FOR SUCCESS
Dress for Success provides interview suits, confidence boosts and career development to more than 45,000 women in over 73 cities each year. Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization that helps low-income women make tailored transitions into the workforce. Learn how you can help.
UTERINE FIBROID RESEARCH
According to the National Uterine Fibroid Foundation(NUFF), approximately 1.6 million women are newly diagnosed with uterine fibroids each year in the United States. While the vast majority of women do not need or seek out immediate treatment for their fibroids, somewhere between 250,000 and 400,000 will indeed find they need treatment for uterine fibroids. Current treatments we have available are by no means a "cure" and are woefully inadequate and inconsistently offered and applied. Put mildly, symptomatic fibroids are very disruptive to the quality of life and overall physical well being of affected women.
